How It's Done

Every Rolling Green Turf putting green is designed to fit the site and satisfy the client's specifications. The installation process is an exact one, resulting in a satisfied customer every time. It's more than just a surface, it's a system.

We begin by excavating and compacting the site and overlaying a special geo-textile fabric to help stabilize the sub-base. We then construct a two-layer, compacted crushed stone flex-base and compact it completely. Next, we contour the surface to your specifications.

A backyard putting green is designed to look good but more importantly its to help golfers practice their short game. It gives the opportunity to have a small practice facility in your own backyard. By taking away some of the putting surface and adding fringe you make room for a small chipping area, if the yard and budget allow you can have chipping fringe turf and further out have fairway turf. This opens up the type of shots you can practice.
